Chateau Belle-Vue: Holiday 3-pack 2021

Petit Geste 2019 - unrated

Delicate floral notes mingle with anise and white peach, offering delightfully fresh acidity and surprising length in the mouth. Only 1000 bottles produced, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier have never enjoyed such a happy union. Hints of mimosa flower. Clean, bright, butter yellow—your mouth will water as you begin to lift the glass!

La Renaissance 2011 – 91 points, Wine & Spirits

The best of Bordeaux at a fraction of the price. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend “as smoky as a cigar lounge” with tobacco tones and wood spice leading the way followed closely by dense and plummy, peppery fruit. Supple tannins, ideal with roast meat. Extraordinary length in the mouth, a hallmark of wines from Belle-Vue.

Le Chateau 2011 – 93 points, Wine & Spirits

A firm and dynamic blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah boasting gravelly tannins which hold the fruit tight. Musky spice provides the base to its earthy maturity—velvety mouthfeel unveils in flavors of candied orange peel, cocoa and black cherry. Le Chateau 2011 is a wine to be decanted and savored throughout the course of dinner and into the cheeses. Sublime.
