On September 5, the Vancouver community will be hosting a reception and panel discussion on entrepreneurship and building long lasting businesses. Entrepreneurship can be very rewarding but comes with a host of challenges. The speakers will be sharing insights on some of these challenges, and how proper business planning can help today's entrepreneurs transform inspiration into profitable enterprises.
Hors d'oeuvre and refreshments will be served.
The event is free of charge, but registration is required.
Panelists
Mazen Sukkarieh
Mazen is a serial entrepreneur, published author, recording artist and activist with deeply rooted links and progressive work for the economic, social and political betterment of Lebanon.
Rola Nasreddine
Rola has a life mission of protecting the environment, empowering people and supporting refugees to go back to self-sufficiency. Her passion and commitment to the environment, social justice and community empowerment spans 20 years and has led her to work with non-profit, private, public and international organizations.
Talal Moughnie
Talal brings over two decades of experience developing software products with large corporations and government organizations. He specializes in modernizing applications using the latest cloud technologies.
Moderator
Mohammad Darwish
Mohammad is an entrepreneur with a passion for technological innovations. He is a speaker with Hult Prize Lebanon, an initiative that empowers young people through business, and a mentor with the Graduate Engineering Program at the University of British Columbia.
