The story of LebNet Chicago started with a spark of inspiration.

Jad Dibs, a computer science student at Northwestern University, reached out with an idea: build a Lebanese tech community in Chicago. Inspired by his brother Kareem, a member of the LebNet LA/OC leadership team, Jad saw the impact LebNet was having and wanted to bring that same energy to his city.

We challenged him to identify a core group of local Lebanese professionals and uncover at least 30 Lebanese in tech in the area. He delivered!

Thanks to Jad’s initiative and the incredible team he brought together, LebNet Chicago is officially launched, and we’re thrilled for what’s to come.
